We'll be putting our house on the market at the first of April, so now we are busy packing up the house and finishing projects. We have also taken some time to look back at the projects that brought us where we are today.
We live in Northern California on five acres that we now share with many wonderful animals. Our house, barn, landscaping, and outbuildings are always evolving as “works-in-progress.” This blog will consist of stories about our animals; they include our two dogs, Oso and Hobie, and our kittens Buttons, Bobbin, Stich, and ZigZag. Our barnyard friends include an African Pygmy Goat, Rabbits, Australian Black Swans, Fulvous Whistling Ducks, Mandarin Ducks, Barred Rock Bantam Chickens, Black East Indies Ducks, Buff Orpington Bantam Chickens, Call Ducks, a Toulouse Goose, Rouen Ducks, Party Blue Swede Ducks, and Hawaii’s State Bird (and endangered) Nene Geese.
We also have several aviary birds that include Eclectus, Maximillian Pionus, Barrabands, Parakeets, Diamond Doves, Button Quail, Zebra Finches, Canaries, and Cockatiels.
